Boids Simulator

Boids, or flocks, are agents that mimic the behavior of certain animals. Specifically, we can simulate the movement of birds or ants. With three simple rules—Cohesion, Alignment, and Separation—we can reproduce this fascinating behavior. This project is also developed with Python and Pygame, though I could not complete the NumPy version due to lack of experience. These boids are 2D, but the same approach can be used to create 3D boids that resemble swimming animals. Colors change based on direction, and textures or procedural animations (as seen in my other projects) can also be applied.
